This is the 9th world heritage of Vietnam and the second inter-provincial world heritage, after Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago in Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city.

The northern province of Ninh Binh served around 14 million tourists in the first sĩ months of this year, earning 12.71 trillion VND (559 million USD) in revenue.

The mergence of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam provinces has offered new Ninh Binh a “golden” chance to make breakthrough and affirm its position as a new growth pole of tourism in the North in particular and in Vietnam in general.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 has attracted approximately 485,000 visitors, marking a sharp increase of 70% over the same period in 2024.Tourists visit Tam Coc area.

The Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony on May 23 afternoon to kick off the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 in Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area.A special art programme at the opening ceremony.
