Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA), said provinces should strengthen regional cooperation by developing integrated tourism routes linking Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh and neighbouring localities such as Hung Yen and Bac Ninh. Such cooperation would create complementary tourism products instead of isolated competition.

Ninh Binh’s tourism sector continued to enjoy positive growth in July and in the first seven months of 2026 with a year-on-year increase of over 20% in both number of tourist arrivals and revenue, thus creating momentum for the province to fulfill its yearly target.

In 2025, the Trang An Landscape Complex received Tripadvisor’s prestigious “Best of the Best” award, placing it among the top 1% of destinations worldwide. A delegation from Ninh Binh province, led by Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Ninh Binh province, paid a working visit to Mongolia from June 2 - 4.

Through the Vietnam Japan Tourism Business B2B Networking Programme, Ninh Binh’s tourism sector aims to attract more high-quality international visitors, expand partnerships with Japanese counterparts, and promote sustainable, green tourism growth.

One of the highlights of the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 is the Tam Coc Golden Season Festival at the Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist site, where visitors can enjoy the vibrant rice harvest landscape alongside traditional cultural activities such as agricultural offerings processions, folk singing and traditional art performances.

The Vietnam Tourism Association, in collaboration with the Ninh Binh Provincial Tourism Association, on May 21 solemnly held a ceremony to award the “VITA GREEN Green Tourism” certification to the Trang An Eco-tourism Area, Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Bai Dinh Cultural Area, and Emeralda Ninh Binh Resort.
