Under Resolution No. 11/2026/UBTVQH16, the NA Standing Committee added several draft laws to the 2026 agenda for both discussion and approval at the second session of the 16th NA, scheduled for October.

Ninh Binh province is accelerating efforts to locate, recover and identify the remains of fallen soldiers, having collected more than 16,300 DNA samples from martyrs' relatives for genetic matching as part of the nationwide "500-day campaign".

Ninh Binh is accelerating the pilot rollout of its Intelligent Operations Centre (IOC) and provincial digital citizen application, with both systems expected to become operational on August 10.

The Party Central Committee on July 23 discussed a proposal to transfer responsibility for giving advice on mass mobilisation work from the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation to the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and central mass organisations, as well as a proposal to rename the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation as the Commission for Information and Education.

The Vietnam Summer Camp 2026 is taking place from July 12 to 25, with participants travelling through localities across the country’s northern, central and south-central regions, including Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Gia Lai and Khanh Hoa.

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam has expressed boundless gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, heroes of the people's armed forces, labour heroes, war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, veterans, and all those who rendered services to the nation, saying their sacrifices and contributions laid the foundation for the country’s development and future.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang has instructed Ninh Binh to effectively implement its provincial master plan, focusing on building a project to transform the province into a centrally governed city by 2030.
