The trip is of great importance both bilaterally and multilaterally, as it aims to strongly implement the foreign policy outlined by the 14th National Party Congress, strengthen political trust and create an external environment conducive to Vietnam’s development in the new era. The trip is also expected to help mobilise international resources for national development.

The visit aims to promote parliamentary diplomacy between the two countries, contributing to breakthroughs in economic, trade and investment cooperation, particularly by making effective use of the new pillar of science and technology collaboration.

Resolution No. 258/NQ-CP, dated August 31, 2026, calls for substantive and comprehensive reform, with a focus on maximum cuts and simplification of administrative procedures and business conditions. It also seeks to shift management from pre-licence inspection to post-licence inspection based on risk management, while strengthening real-time, data-driven oversight and putting people and businesses at the centre of public services.

The study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, moral example, methods and style in the new development period are among the focuses of the conference.

In the autumn of 1945, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese people made a historic turning point. The success of the August Revolution culminated when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at historic Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi on September 2, 1945, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and opening an era of independence and freedom for the nation.

A number of major infrastructure, housing and industrial projects were launched or put into operation in cities and provinces across Viet Nam on August 29, as part of activities marking the 81st National Day (September 2).

The ten young women from Lam Ha commune in Phu Ly city of former Ha Nam province, did not sacrifice on the same day like the ten female youth volunteers at Dong Loc T-junction in Ha Tinh province.
