    On August 19 (the 7th day of the 7th lunar month in the Year of the Horse), an incense offering ceremony was held at Luu Pho Temple, a national historical and cultural relic in Nam Dinh ward of Ninh Binh province, to commemorate the 762nd death anniversary of Grand Preceptor Tran Thu Do (1264 2026), a key figure in the establishment of the Tran Dynasty in the 13th and 14th centuries.

    Amendments to bills aim to close loopholes in criminal laws

    The amendments to the Penal Code focus on four major areas - revising and supplementing provisions on offences and penalties; revising provisions on grounds for exclusion, postponement and exemption from criminal liability and the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution; and ensuring consistency, feasibility and sound legislative drafting.

    Ninh Binh works to removes bottlenecks, steps up development of industrial zones and clusters

    The Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee on August 19 held a dialogue themed “Administration accompanying businesses for development”, focusing on solutions to remove obstacles and promote the development of industrial parks and industrial clusters. The programme aimed to improve the operational efficiency, infrastructure quality and investment appeal of industrial parks and clusters across the province.
