Land of birds in the heart of Ninh Binh’s heritage

Thung Nham Bird Park in Nam Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province, is the largest natural bird park in northern Vietnam, home to 46 bird species. It lies within the core zone of the Trang An Landscape Complex a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site inscribed in 2014.
Visitors to Thung Nham Bird Park can admire the wild beauty of its avian residents.
During the peak breeding season, from August to April lunar calender year, the park is home to tens thousands of birds.
Strict protection measures are enforced, from banning all hunting, harms to the birds, and damage to their habitats.
