The northern province of Ninh Binh will organise a series of cultural, culinary and music activities to attract visitors during the National Day holidays, which will last from August 30 to September 2.

The coastal estuarine alluvial area of Xuan Thuy National Park in Ninh Binh province is the first wetland in Southeast Asia to be recognised as internationally important under the Ramsar Convention.

Bai Dinh Pagoda is the only in the list to be granted the green-tick status, indicating the site's remarkable credibility among international visitors.

Ninh Binh province welcomed 14.7 million holidaymakers and earned over 13.34 trillion VND (580 million USD) in revenue in the first seven months of 2025, the Department of Tourism reported.

Since January 2025, Ninh Binh has hosted six marathons, pulling in thousands of runners from Vietnam and abroad.
