General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam has expressed his hope that cooperation between Vietnam and the UK in various fields, especially parliamentary collaboration, will be further strengthened and elevated to a level commensurate with the scope of their relationship, their potential, and the expectations of their people.
According to a freshly signed resolution outlining guidelines for determining the projected structure and allocation of candidates for the all-level People’s Councils for the 2026-2031 term, women should make up at least 35% of official candidate lists at each level, with a target of around 30% elected.
Ninh Binh province aims to become a centrally-run city by 2030, with modern industry, high-quality tourism services, and a green urban area associated with heritage. To achieve the target, in recent times, the province has focused on key areas such as industrial development, tourism, education and training, healthcare, innovative startups; attracting investment resources for strategic infrastructure such as highways, airport, deep-water seaports, high-speed railway stations, inter-regional connecting routes; developing urban areas associated with public transport; forming a chain of modern urban areas, linking industrial parks, tourist areas, and economic zones.
