Ninh Binh welcomes nearly 1 million international visitors in five months of 2025

In the first five months of 2025, the northern province of Ninh Binh welcomed 938 thousands international visitors, marking a 53.7% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Foreign visitors experienced traditional craft at Tam Coc tourism week.
In May alone, over 1 million tourist arivals flocked to Ninh Binh. Of the total, the number of international arrivals reached 159.3 thousands, posting a year -on-year rise of 63.4%.
In the January-May period, the province served over 6.6 million tourists, up 16.8% compared to same period last year.
Of which 938 thousands were international visitors, up 53.7% while domestic travellers were 5.6 millions, up 12.35%.
Revenue from tourism hiked over 7 trillion VND (305 million USD), making a year-on-year increase of 31.9%.
Revenue from hotels was 487 billion VND (21,2 million USD) and that from hotels was 1,3 trillion VND (56.7 million USD), up 27.7% and 26.4%, respectively.
