    Nhan Dan (People) reporter Trung Hanh recapped an excursion to Xuan Thuy National Park in Ninh Binh Province. The park, the first one in Viet Nam to be recognised as a Ramsar site a wetland site designated to be of international importance under the Ramsar Convention, is often dubbed as the “international bird station.”

    Ninh Binh has two more special national relic sites

    Tam Chuc landscape and archeological site, and Co Le pagoda in Ninh Binh province have been ranked as special national relic sites under the Prime Minister’s Decision 1959/QD-TTg dated September 9, 2025.

    Xuan Thuy National Park recognised as ASEAN Heritage Park

    Attracting tourists during National Day holiday

    This year’s National Day holiday lasts four days, with a sharp rise in travel demand. The capital Ha Noi, with numerous activities marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day (September 2), has drawn large numbers of visitors. Many people have returned to visit the capital while combining their trips with tours to other destinations in the northern region.

    Viet Nam welcomes more than 10 million foreign visitors in first half of 2025

    The total number of international tourist arrivals to Viet Nam in the first six months of 2025 is estimated at 10,664,608, an increase of 20.7% compared to the same period in 2024. Domestic tourism is estimated at 77.5 million arrivals. Total revenue from tourism is estimated at 518 trillion VND.

    Economic diplomacy to support growth target of 8.3 - 8.5% in 2025: PM

    In the first six months of 2025, overseas Vietnamese missions carried out nearly 300 economic diplomacy events, including trade, investment, and tourism promotion activities. They supported localities in organising over 150 promotion activities both at home and abroad, and helped facilitate 30 agreements between Vietnamese localities and international partners.
