    Ninh Binh aims to boost heritage-driven tourism growth

    One of the highlights of the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 is the Tam Coc Golden Season Festival at the Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist site, where visitors can enjoy the vibrant rice harvest landscape alongside traditional cultural activities such as agricultural offerings processions, folk singing and traditional art performances.

    Both sides pointed to substantive, positive outcomes in cultural and tourism cooperation from 2021-2025, citing successful cultural weeks in each country, cultural and art activities marking important occasions of the two Parties and countries, and the effective delivery of agreements reached by leaders that further fostered the special Vietnam Laos relationship.

    In the first two months of 2026, Ninh Binh welcomed over 5.4 million visitors, up 9.9% year-on-year, generating nearly 5.84 trillion VND (221 million USD) in tourism revenue, up 15.9%. During the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday alone, the province received 2.38 million visitors, an 81.4% increase from the previous year, ranking second nationwide.

    Ninh Binh’s Department of Tourism has just issued a plan on organising the opening ceremony of the Sea Tourism Season 2026. This is an important event within the framework of this year's Ninh Binh Tourism Week, with many attractive activities promising to bring visitors exciting experiences.

    Representatives from Departments of Tourism of Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, and Ca Mau signed a cooperation agreement to develop tourism.
