Delegation of ASEAN Confederation of Women’s Organisations visits Tam Chuc National Tourism Area

The visit formed part of a cultural experience programme designed to introduce delegates to Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage. During the trip, the delegation took a boat tour of the Tam Chuc scenic complex, offering an opportunity to explore one of the country’s notable spiritual and natural tourism destinations.

Throughout the visit, the delegates were introduced to the site’s history and its distinctive cultural, historical and architectural values, as well as its natural landscape. They also admired the picturesque lake, limestone mountains and prominent spiritual architectural structures that make Tam Chuc a unique tourist attraction.

Beyond sightseeing, the visit provided an opportunity for ACWO delegates to exchange views and gain deeper insights into the culture, people and heritage of Ninh Binh. The programme also contributed to promoting Vietnam’s image as a welcoming country with a rich cultural identity to international friends./.
