Ninh Binh announces brand identity for Giao Ninh Tourism Area

Authorities in the northern province of Ninh Binh on September 10 officially launched the brand identity for the Giao Ninh Tourism Area and introduced a portfolio of community-based tourism products for the province's coastal communes, marking a new step in promoting sustainable coastal tourism.

The announcement was made at a ceremony held at the Giao Ninh Tourism Area in Giao Ninh commune. The event was attended by Le Quoc Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; and Dinh Thi Lua, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, among others.

The initiative aims to strengthen and promote the Giao Ninh Tourism Area as a distinctive destination while enhancing the visibility of community-based tourism across Ninh Binh's coastal communes. It is also expected to diversify the province's tourism offerings, support sustainable tourism development, and improve livelihoods for coastal communities.
With its natural advantages and clear development strategy, Giao Ninh is expected to gradually emerge as a leading destination for ecotourism, seaside leisure and community-based tourism, helping elevate Ninh Binh's coastal tourism stature on Vietnam's tourism map.
According to the organisers, the destination's new brand identity is built around the slogan "Giao Ninh Where the Sea Calls for Peace."The logo draws inspiration from ocean waves, the horizon, sailing boats and the movement of nature, symbolising the connection between the sea and the land, as well as the harmony between tradition and modernity.
Its colour palette combines shades of blue representing the sea and coastal ecosystems with golden tones inspired by sunshine, sandy beaches and the region's cultural heritage, reflecting the vision of a green, welcoming and distinctive tourism destination.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh described the launch of the Giao Ninh brand identity and the community-based tourism product portfolio as a significant milestone in positioning the province's coastal tourism with a more professional and modern image while preserving its cultural identity.
He said the initiative would help mobilise resources and encourage greater participation from local communities and businesses in developing unique tourism products, contributing to the transformation of Ninh Binh's coastal area into a green, safe, high-quality and visitor-friendly destination./.
