In August alone, Ninh Binh province welcomed over 983,000 holidaymakers and earned nearly 1,2 trillion VND in revenue, up 29.81% and 26.03%, respectively the Department of Tourism reported.
In the January-August period, the province welcomed around 19.78 million holidaymakers, posting a year-on-year rise of 24.13%. The number of visitors staying at local accommodation establishments reached over 4 million, an increase of 29.05% compared to the same period in 2025.
Tourism revenue exceeded more than 20.6 trillion VND, representing a rise of 3.05% compared to same period last year..
The outcomes were attributed to the province’s tourism promotion, support to tourists and improved quality of services.
In August, the tourism sector continued to step up to build new tourism products, with focus on culture tourism and night-time tourism.
Alongside with developing new tourism products, local sectors, localities continue to ensure security order, environmental hygiene, civilised tourism and the service quality while preparing conditions to serve tourist during the upcoming National Day Holiday and other cultural, sport events in the province.
