    Ninh Binh targets to welcome 20 million tourists in 2026

    Tourism-

    In 2025, Ninh Binh is estimated to welcome more than 19.4 million visitors, including nearly 2.2 million international visitors. Revenue reached 21.27 trillion VND, exceeding the plan, making a significant contribution to promoting economic growth and enhancing the local image.

    Spring festivals are not only significant in terms of historical value but also an attractive cultural and spiritual tourism product that is increasingly developing. After the merger, Ninh Binh currently has more than 5,000 historical and cultural relics and about 750 traditional festivals that are maintained and organised annually. Among them, the following seven major festivals are mentioned:

    Looking ahead to 2026, the tourism sector targets about 25 million international arrivals, 150 million domestic holidaymakers and total revenue of around 1.12 quadrillion VND (approximately 43 billion USD), reflecting its ambition to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector in line with the Government's goals.
