Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee works with foreign firms on planning and environment

At the working session, Son briefed the guests on the province’s socio-economic situation, potential and strengths in the fields of tourism and industry.

After implementing a two-tiered local administration model, Ninh Binh province ranks 10th in the country in terms of economic scale and 7th in terms of budget revenue.

With its strategic location at the southern gateway of the Red River Delta, connecting with Central Vietnam and the Northwest region, and the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, Ninh Binh is an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists and investors, he said.

At the meeting, representatives from the Jina Architecture and Urban Design (JAUD) and Biran CG Environmental Services Company expressed their interest in the projects the province is seeking investment for, and wished to explore cooperation in areas such as technology development, urban planning and architecture, waste collection, transport, waste treatment for power generation, solid waste treatment, and treatment of domestic and industrial wastewater, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful environment in the province.

The Jina Architecture and Urban Design (JAUD) is an international enterprise operating in the fields of architecture and urban planning, with offices in many countries and has participated in the design and planning of many large projects in Vietnam and internationally.

The Biran CG Environmental Services Company is a large international enterprise in the environmental field, specialising in providing solutions and technologies for the collection, transport, and treatment of domestic and industrial waste and wastewater, with many large-capacity waste treatment plants operating in China.

Concluding the meeting, Son affirmed that Ninh Binh province always values and wishes to strengthen cooperative relations with international partners.

“We are ready to create favourable conditions, while adhering to legal regulations, for foreign businesses to explore, research, invest, and establish long-term cooperation in the province, especially in the fields of urban planning and environmental protection,” he stressed./.
