Provincial leaders pay homage to late President Ho Chi Minh and fallen soldiers ahead of Tet

A delegation of provincial leaders on February 12 offered incense in tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh, fallen soldiers, late Party and State leaders, and steadfast communist soldiers who had great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and happiness for people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival and the 96th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The delegation offered incense in commemoration of fallen soldiers at Nam Dinh Martyr Memorial Monument in Nam Dinh ward.
The delegation, led by Tran Huy Tuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, laid a wreath and offered incense in commemoration of fallen soldiers at Nam Dinh Martyr Memorial Monument in Nam Dinh ward; and offered incense in tribute to comrade Le Duc Tho, former Standing Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC)’s Secretariat andformer Chairman of the CPVCC’s Organisation Commission at Le Duc Tho Memorial House in Hong Quang ward.
Throughout the great national resistance wars, Ninh Binh province had tens of thousands of outstanding sons and daughters who went to fight to protect the Fatherland and fulfill international duties; among them, thousands of our homeland's sons and daughters bravely sacrificed their lives.
Before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, the provincial delegation expressed their gratitude and demonstrated their determination that the Party Organisation, administration, military, and people of the province will always unite and work together to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. They aim to build Ninh Binh into a rapidly developing, sustainable, increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized province, becoming a centrally-governed city by 2030.
On the same day, the delegation also visited and offered incense to commemorate comrade Le Duc Tho, former Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat and former Chairman of its Organisation Commission, at the Le Duc Tho Memorial House (Hong Quang ward).

Comrade Le Duc Tho was born in former Nam Dinh province. He was a staunch communist fighter, a talented leader, and a key figure in the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the country. He was also a steadfast and outstanding diplomat, making significant contributions to fulfilling the Party's noble international obligations./.
