NA Vice Chairwoman attends school year beginning ceremony in Ninh Binh

The opening ceremony were held concurrently with the inauguration of multi-level boarding schools in mainland border communes, creating a joint nationwide event for the entire education sector on the first day of the new school year.

Prominents provincial leaders at the ceremony were Tran Huy Tuan, Member of the Party Central committee, Secretary of provincial party committee; Ha Lan Anh, Deputy Chairwoman of provincial people's committee; among others.

In 2026-2027 school year, Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted has ten classes with 1,365 students.

In his remarks, Hoang Hai Nam, principal of the Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted said that over 70 years of development, the school is develop into gifted high schools of high quality in the province.

At the National Contest for Excellent Students in the 2025-2026 academic year, 64 students from Luong Van Tuy High School won prizes at the National Contest for Excellent Students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Also in the academic year, one student won silver at the at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad (APIO) and one other won first-prize at the National Technical Innovation Contest.

On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh handed over 50 gift packages to disadvantages students.
