Implemening the Government’s Resoltion No.263/NQ-CP on presenting gifts to citizens on the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee had issued Document No.109/UBND-VP5 on guidance local sectors, branches, localities to promlty present gifts to citizens.

Viet Nam and Cuba have issued a joint statement on occasion of the state visit to Viet Nam from August 31 to September 2 by First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, his spouse and a high-ranking delegation of the Cuban Party and State, and their attendance at the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of Viet Nam.

Vietnam always bears in mind and remains grateful for the solidarity and fraternal support extended by the Cuban people to the Vietnamese people during their struggle for national liberation and reunification in the past as well as during the ongoing process of national construction and protection, Party General Secretary To Lam said.

Vietnam has implemented 40 amnesties in 80 years. Since 2009, 11 presidential decisions have benefited nearly 100,000 prisoners.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has penned an article titled “Government under Party’s leadership: 80-year journey for the nation, for the people” on the occasion of the Government's 80th founding anniversary.

As the European Commission (EC) is preparing to conduct the 5th inspection, Ninh Binh province - a locality with a traditional fishing industry and a significant offshore fleet - is focusing on implementing drastic solutions, both to overcome existing problems and to strengthen the foundation for sustainable fisheries management, aiming to have the EC’s "yellow card" lifted as soon as possible.
