According to the plan, the opening ceremony is scheduled to take place at 19:30 on April 28 at Thinh Long Beach Tourist Area, Hai Thinh commune, with the participation of approximately 600 delegates including leaders from central agencies, provinces, cities, tourism businesses, and a large number of local people and tourists.
The highlight of the opening ceremony is a unique artistic programme, specially created to reflect the distinct cultural identity of the sea, combining traditional and modern elements.
In addition to the opening ceremony, many supporting activities will also be organised, lasting from April 27 to May 3. Specifically, the programme introducing destinations and promoting beach tourism products for the summer of 2026 will take place from April 28 to 29, with the participation of approximately 150 leading travel businesses.
A space for promoting tourism products, OCOP (One Commune One Product) and seafood cuisine is expected to be held from April 27 to May 3 with about 50 booths.
In addition, cultural and experiential activities such as stilt walking performances and a kite festival will take place from April 28 to May 2 at the beach area of Hai Thinh commune, contributing to creating a vibrant and attractive atmosphere for this year's beach tourism season.
The opening ceremony of the Sea Tourism Season is an important activity within the framework of the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 and will become an annual event reflecting the unique cultural and tourism identity of the Ninh Binh coastal region.
The programme is organised with the aim of promoting the potential and strengths of Ninh Binh's coastal tourism; introducing tourism products, traditional crafts, and unique coastal culture; and contributing to stimulating tourism demand, attracting investment, and promoting sustainable socio-economic development of the locality./.
