The five newly-recoginised national treasures of Ninh Binh have unique historical and cultural values, dating back from the Ly and Tran Dynasties to Le Trung Hung era.
They include a stone stele of Nghia Xa Pagoda in Xuan Truong commune;
Stone Buddha altar of Thuong Nuong Pagoda in Tam Tu village, Liem Ha commune; a set of 18 rock carvings depicting Arhats in Lien Hoa Cave, Phong Phu Pagoda, dating back to the Tran Dynasty, currently preserved in Lien Hoa Cave, Phong Phu Pagoda, Tay Hoa Lu ward; a bronze book of Le Thanh Tong, currently preserved at Cau Khong communal house, Bac Ly commune; three stone steles of Keo Hanh Thien Pagoda, currently preserved at Keo Hanh Thien Pagoda (Than Quang Temple), Xuan Hong commune.
The decision clearly states that the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Chairpersons of the People's Committees at all levels where the national treasures are located are responsible for managing the national treasures in accordance with the law on cultural heritage.
The recognition of five more national treasures further affirms the rich cultural heritage of Ninh Binh province, while also placing high demands on the conservation and promotion of heritage values in conjunction with local socio-economic development./.
