Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council of Ninh Binh province Le Quoc Chinh on November 7 received and worked with a delegation from the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly (Japan) led by its Chairman Nakagawa Kyoki.

Chinh briefed the guests on Ninh Binh’s situation after merging with Ha Nam and Nam Dinh provinces. After the mergence, Ninh Binh has expanded its development space and boasted many advantages for attracting investment and developing the province's socio-economy.

Ninh Binh is a land favoured by nature, with many famous scenic spots, typicallyTrang An Scenic Landscape Complex - World Cultural and Natural Heritage, the first mixed heritage of Vietnam and Southeast Asia, twice recognised by UNESCO as a model of sustainable economic and tourism development. In 202,5 it was in the top 1% of the best destinations in the world, he said.
Ninh Binh is also an attractive investment destination, especially in the field of tourism, high quality education and training, good human resource training, many famous OCOP products, high-tech industry and automobile manufacturing, Chinh stressed.
Ninh Binh province has been creating the most favorable conditions to welcome foreign investors.
Japan has always been one of the leading economic partners of Ninh Binh, especially in the fields of trade, agricultural production, industry, health care, and education. Ninh Binh province highly appreciates the contributions of Japanese enterprises investing in the province in recent times, the official said.

Nakagawa Kyoki, for his part, thanked the leaders of the People's Council of Ninh Binh province for their warm and respectful welcome to the working delegation.
He said that Okinawa and Ninh Binh have many things in common to promote cooperation in the fields of tourism, agriculture, human resource development, and cultural exchange.
Therefore, Nakagawa Kyoki hoped that the working visit will be a bridge to further strengthen the increasingly deep strategic cooperation relationship between Ninh Binh and Okinawa.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information and discussed the following contents: investment promotion activities, support policies for Okinawa prefecture's enterprises investing in Ninh Binh, investment cooperation opportunities in Ninh Binh province; results of education and training development in Ninh Binh province, advantages and difficulties in sending workers to study and work in Japan in recent times.
The two sides also proposed cooperation in the fields of agriculture; conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values; cultural and artistic exchange; and tourism./.
