The final match and award ceremony of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball League (SEA V.League) took place at Ninh Binh province’s gymnasium on August 10 evening.
Vietnam capture the second stage crown at the 2025 SEA Women’s Volleyball League.
The second leg of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball League (SEA V.League) took place in Ninh Binh from August 8-10 with four participating teams - Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand.
The final match took place between Vietnam and Thailand. This was a match between two arch-rivals. Thailand are in the top 3 of Asia while Vietnam have been constantly growing strongly.
The two teams launched their strongest lineups and went through five sets. In the first two sets, Thailand dominated, however, Vietnam played with great effort to turn the tables in the next twosets. Finally, the two teams had to decide the winner in the 5th set.

Both teams were under heavy psychological pressure and fought for each point. However, in the last seconds, Vietnam, with the excellence of Thanh Thuy and Bich Tuyen, scored and won with a score of 16/14. In the end, the Vietnamese team won Thailand 3-2.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team made history when they defeated Thailand, the strongest team in Southeast Asia, for the first time.
At the end of the tournament, the Organising Committee awarded the first prize to Vietnam, the second prize to Thailand, the third prize to the Philippines, and the fourth prize to Indonesia.
In addition to the 16,000 USD prize for the championship, the Vietnamese team also received bonuses from Duc Giang Chemical Group with a prize of 500 million VND, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation with a prize of 300 million VND, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee with a prize of 200 million VND, Viet Content Company with a prize of 100 million VND, and Dong Luc Sports Group with a prize of 100 million VND.
The organising committee also awarded many individual prizes such as: excellent main attacker award, excellent middle blocker award, excellent libero award, excellent setter award, excellent opposite setter award, and most comprehensive athlete award.
