Ninh Binh dominate V.League September awards

The former imperial capital's representative beat direct rivals Hanoi Public Security Club and Song Lam Nghe An to claim the “Club of the Month” award.

Ninh Binh's continued hold on top spot after the opening four rounds also earned head coach Chu Dinh Nghiem the “Coach of the Month” award, recognising his managerial ability and clear tactical imprint on the team.

In the individual category, Ninh Binh's foreign striker Lucas Vinicius was named “Player of the Month”, beating strong contenders Alan and Nguyen Quang Vinh.

With the results, Ninh Binh secured all three major awards The Club, Coach and Player of the Month. The awards will be presented to coach Chu Dinh Nghiem and his players before their match against Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Club on October 25.

The only September award not claimed by Ninh Binh was “Goal of the Month,” which went to Ha Tinh's foreign player Luiz Antonio for his spectacular 16th-minute strike in the team's third-round clash with Viettel./.
