Ninh Binh, a sacred land with a thousand-year cultural tradition, is home to the mixed cultural and natural world heritage of Trang An - the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Trang An is seen as an important resource for the province to develop the cultural industry sustainably and effectively in the time to come.

Ninh Binh province welcomed 3.9 million tourist arrivals, including 340 international visitors, in the first three months of 2024, marking the most impressive growth over the past years and fulfilling 52% of the target set for the whole year.
