The Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee held the opening ceremony for Sea Tourism Season 2026 in Hai Thinh commune on April 28 evening.

Present at the opening ceremony were Vu Hai Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for National Defence, Security and Foreign Affairs; Tran Huy Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Tran Dang Quynh, Alternative Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and President of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and Le Quoc Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, among others.

In his opening speech, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Song Tung affirmed that over the years, Ninh Binh has been known as a popular destination of heritage, culture, ecological and spritual tourism. The organisation of Sea Tourism Season 2026 affirmed the province’s determination to expand its tourism development space in a comprehensive, diverse and sustainable way.
The theme "Ninh Binh - From Sacred Mountains to the Vast Sea" is not only a communication message but also reflects a strategic vision: connecting heritage values with marine potential, connecting tradition with aspirations for development in the new era, he said.

Tung emphasized that to create momentum for the development of coastal tourism in the coming time, he requested the People's Committees of coastal communes, functional departments, units managing tourist areas and sites, and tourism service businesses to prepare the best conditions for the tourism season; continue to upgrade infrastructure, ensure fire safety; maintain the landscape, environmental hygiene, security and order, food safety, and beach safety; strictly enforce price listing, sell at the correct price, and prevent any acts of soliciting or coercing tourists that affect the image of the destination.

The opening ceremony of the Ninh Binh SeaTourism Season 2026 was a significant event, marking the beginning of a series of events celebrating Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026. It's an opportunity for Ninh Binh to further introduce and promote its potential, strengths, unique cultural values, and new development opportunities.
In addition to the spectacular cultural performances, there will be promotional activities such as: a Famtrip programmeintroducing destinations and selling summer tourism products; a space for promoting OCOP tourism products; seafood cuisine; bonsai exhibitions; stilt walking performances; and a kite-flying festival. Along with these, the participation of cultural and artistic activities from coastal communes will create a vibrant and diverse cultural space for this year's sea tourism season./.
