A working delegation from Ninh Binh province, led by Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua, held a series of activities in France to introduce the locality’s potential and strengths as well as seeking investment and cooperation opportunities with European partners.

The highlight of the trip was a working session between the delegation and the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF), France’s largest employers’ federation, representing over 750,000 member companies, 90% of which are small and medium-sized enterprises.

At the event, MEDEF International Deputy CEO General Géraldine Lemblé praised the visit as an important step to deepen business links between the two countries. She affirmed MEDEF International’s commitment to supporting Ninh Binh in promoting its advantages and attracting French investment.

Lua introduced Ninh Binh’s strategic location, infrastructure, workforce, and sustainable development goals. She pledged comprehensive support for enterprises at every stage of project implementation, expressing her hope that the MEDEF will serve as a bridge for French companies to explore investment opportunities in priority sectors such as supporting industries, clean energy, health care, education, tourism, and digital transformation.

At the Ninh Binh investment promotion conference on October 24, Lua affirmed Ninh Binh’s commitment to ensuring 24-hour power supply, complete infrastructure and essential services to industrial zones, streamlined administrative procedures, and skilled workforce training. The province also guarantees clean land allocation, land-use fee exemptions for worker housing projects, and a secure, strike-free business environment. Direct hotlines with the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee are maintained to promptly address investors’ concerns.

Hailing the province’s efforts, Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Business in France (ABVietFrance) Nguyen Hai Nam said that the ABVietFrance will connect Ninh Binh with potential partners. He said he hopes that the locality, boasting flexible policies and completing infrastructure, will become an attractive destination for French investors.
At the event, French investors expressed their impression on the province’s socio-economic development achievements, particularly in FDI attractions. They exchanged notes on issues of mutual concerns such as smart urban area planning, building material production, medical equipment, environmental protection, digital transformation, and administrative reform.

Earlier, the delegation had a working session with the Vietnamese Embassy in France, during which Lua briefed Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang and the embassy staff on the local socio-economic development and hoped to receive the embassy’s continued support in bridging the province with French businesses and organising investment promotion programmes.
Thang praised the province’s investment promotion efforts, pledging continued assistance in fostering partnerships with French enterprises.
The delegation will continue their investment promotion agenda in the Netherlands on October 25-30, strengthening connection with European partners for its breakthrough development.
