Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh on September 17 chaired a working session with representatives of foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises operating in the province.

Speaking at the working session, Binh gave an overview of the province’s situation, noting that following the merger of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam provinces, the administrative apparatus of new Ninh Binh province has been gradually stabilised, laying a foundation for more effective use of its potential, advantages and development space.
The provincial economy has maintained positive growth momentum, with important contributions from the business community in general and foreign-invested enterprises in particular, he said.
Binh called on business representatives to frankly share information about their operations, investment orientations, and production and business plans, as well as difficulties and obstacles encountered during project implementation. Based on their feedback, the province will study and direct relevant agencies to devise appropriate, timely and effective support measures.

At the meeting, representatives of the businesses briefed participants on their operational results, production and business orientations, and plans to expand investment in Ninh Binh.
They highly appreciated the support provided by the provincial authorities, relevant agencies and local administrations during project implementation. At the same time, they proposed that the province continue to ensure adequate power and water supplies and technical infrastructure at industrial parks, while providing more information and guidance to help businesses promptly update new regulations and ensure that their investment, production and business activities comply fully with the law.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh addressed and clarified the businesses’ recommendations.

He said the provincial Industrial Parks Management Board is responsible for State management of industrial parks, while the Investment and Trade Promotion and Consultancy Centre serves as the focal point for receiving information, providing consultancy and support, and coordinating efforts to resolve difficulties and obstacles faced by investors.
Binh affirmed that, alongside its favourable investment environment and broad development space, Ninh Binh is committed to accompanying, supporting and creating favourable conditions for businesses, particularly large-scale FDI enterprises applying high technologies, to invest with confidence and expand their long-term operations in the province.
These efforts will contribute to building a modern industrial ecosystem, improving production capacity and competitiveness, and achieving the province’s goals of rapid and sustainable development in the new period, Binh added./.
