Deputy PM requests considering proposed transport projects in Ninh Binh

Under the direction of the Deputy PM, the Ministry of Construction is assigned to coordinate with the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province (after implementing the arrangement of provincial administrative units) and relevant agencies to study the proposal of Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise. "The research results must be reported and proposed to the PM in writing in June 2025," Deputy PM Ha requested in the document.

Previously, Director of Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise sent a proposal to Party General Secretary To Lam on building one international airport and nine bridges spanning over Day and Hoang Long Rivers to connect the centre of Ninh Binh to Nam Dinh and Ha Nam provinces.

The international airport will be located in Y Yen district (Nam Dinh province) or another location chosen by the Ministry of Construction.

The project’s investment capital will be sourced from the local budget and social resources.

Xuan Truong also suggested building two roads connecting Trang An heritage site and Bai Dinh pagoda to Nam Dinh province, and the other connecting Trang An heritage and Bai Dinh pagoda to Ha Nam province.

The roads will be designed to have eight lances.

Nine bridges spanning over Day and Hoang Long rivers will be built to enhance inter-region link and to realise the target of developing Ninh Binh into a national hub of culure and tourism.

The two roads will be completed in 12 months.
