Secretary of Provincial Party Committee works with Hyundai Motor Company

At the meeting, Tuan briefed the delegation on the province's socio-economic situation. After mergence, Ninh Binh has continued to maintain an impressive economic growth rate. Its GRDP growth in 2025 reached 10.65%, ranking third out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide. In the first quarter of 2026, the province’s GRDP was estimated to reach over 76.6 trillion VND (2.9 billion USD), a year-on-year increase of 11.63%, ranking first in the Red River Delta and second nationwide.

The outcomes were partly contributed by the business community, including Hyundai Thanh Cong joint venture, he stressed.

Affirming that the province always cherishes and highly values the role of businesses, Tuan emphasised that Ninh Binh will continue to improve the investment environment, creating favourable conditions for businesses to develop stably and sustainably.

The official requested the Hyundai Motor Company to research development orientations towards green and clean trends, promote electrification, increase the localisation rate, and strengthen linkages with domestic businesses At the same time, he encouraged investment in the development of electric vehicle infrastructure and charging station systems.

The province is committed to accompanying and supporting businesses within the framework of the law and hopes that the Hyundai Motor Group will continue to expand cooperation and participate more deeply in the local production chain.

For his part, Sung thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome, highly appreciated the investment environment and the support of the local Party Committee and administration. He affirmed that the company's achievements in Vietnam have been significantly supported by Ninh Binh province.

Sung stated that the company is promoting electrification and developing environmentally friendly vehicle lines. He emphasised the building of a local production and supply ecosystem.
