The province has so far supported 3,964 households to replace temporary and dilapidated houses, including 1,925 new constructions and 2,039 repairs. Of them, work started on 3,106 houses others, representing 78.36%.
Old Ninh Binh province has supported 1,572 households, while old Ha Nam province has built and repaired houses for 541 families and old Nam Dinh has province has assisted 1,851 families in building new houses and repaired old ones.
Currently, localities in the province are actively implementing the programme, striving to complete housing support for people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives before July 27, 2025, and complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province before August 31, 2025.
Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Dung said the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is a particularly important political task and a very meaningful policy of the Party and State.
He requested departments, sectors, communes and wards to strictly and effectively implement the central authorities’ direction and the province's documents on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
For communes and wards that have not completed the programme, it is necessary to continue to make efforts and closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches to accelerate the effective implementation of the programme, meeting the quality and progress requirements set out.
