Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council passes important resolutions

The session saw the attendance of Tran Huy Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Le Quoc Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province.

At the session, the provincial People's Council heard reports and proposals including: Approval of the adjustment of the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; Regulations on criteria for deciding on bidding to select investors for investment projects using land to build urban areas and rural residential areas in Ninh Binh province; Report on the results of adjusting the Ninh Binh provincial state budget revenue and expenditure estimates for 2025 managed by the province; Regulations on some policies in the work of protecting and caring for the health of officials and some other individuals of the province.

The members of the provincial People's Council discussed and carefully considered the reports and proposals and decided to approve three resolutions including: Resolution on the adjustment of the Ninh Binh Provincial Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; The Resolution stipulates the criteria for deciding on the bidding process to select investors for investment projects using land for the construction of urban areas and rural residential areas in the province; and the Resolution stipulates several policies on the protection and care of the health of officials and other individuals in Ninh Binh province.

Also at the session, the provincial People's Council elected Pham Quang Ai, member of the provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, as a member of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, with 100% of the delegates present at the session voting in favour.

In his directive speech at the session, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Le Quoc Chinh emphasised that the 8th session of the 15th provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term was a great success. The session adopted important resolutions, creating a legal basis for the implementation of the province's development tasks in the coming period and carrying out personnel work within the authority of the provincial People's Council.

Following the session, based on the resolutions issued, the provincial People's Council requests the provincial People's Committee, authorities at all levels, sectors, and localities, according to their functions, duties, and powers, to proactively implement the resolutions, ensuring the procedures and processes comply with the law, he added./.
