Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council passes 28 important resolutions at mid-year regular session

After two days of working in a serious, democratic and responsible manner, the mid-year regular session of the 16th People's Council of Ninh Binh province successfully completed its agenda on June 25.
Deputies to the Provincial People's Council voted to approve 28 resolutions in many important fields.
During the session, delegates discussed reports on the province’s socio-economic development situation; national defence and security; resolving voters' opinions and recommendations; operation of judiciary agencies and other important issues.

Speaking at the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binhstated that despite continuing to face many difficulties and challenges from the domestic and global economic situation, Ninh Binh province maintained positive growth momentum in the first six months of 2016.
Accordingly, the province's GRDP is estimated to increase by over 11%, continuing to maintain double-digit growth. The industrial, tourism, trade, and service sectors all recorded positive results; the investment and business environment continued to improve; and the disbursement of public investment capital, land development, and handling of outstanding projects were decisively directed.
In addition to economic development, the province continued to promote tasks related to science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, focusing on the comprehensive development of culture, education, health, ensuring social security, and improving the quality of life for its people.
For the tasks in the last six months of the year, the Provincial People's Committee has determined to continue maintaining double-digit economic growth, boost state budget revenue, improve the efficiency of public investment disbursement, and implement key projects to create growth potential for the next phase.
The province will also continue to review, reorganise, and effectively utilise surplus public assets; promote administrative reform and digital transformation; and improve the efficiency of the two-tiered local administration model.
One of the important contents of the session was the consideration and discussion of reports, draft resolutions, and documents submitted to the session.
With high consensus, deputies to the Provincial People's Council voted to approve 28 resolutions in many important fields.
In his closing remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Quoc Chinh assessed that the deputies had demonstrated a sense of responsibility, discussed and contributed many opinions, and made decisions on many important issues.

The deputies reviewed and passed 28 resolutions. The question-and-answer session was conducted seriously, focusing on issues of concern to voters and the people.
To achieve the development goals for 2026, Chinh requested the Provincial People's Committee, departments, agencies, and localities to promptly implement the resolutions that have been passed; continue to effectively implement the policy of streamlining the organisational structure; and focus on removing difficulties, unlocking resources, and promoting economic growth.
At the same time, the Standing members of the Provincial People's Council, Boards of the Provincial People's Council, and People's Council deputies at all levels should strengthen supervision of the implementation of resolutions; promptly grasp and reflect the thoughts and aspirations of voters, he said.
The Fatherland Front and relevant agencies and units should continue to promote their role in disseminating information and monitoring, contributing to the rapid implementation of the Provincial People's Council's resolutions, Chinh added.
The completion of the entire session's agenda and the adoption of important resolutions are expected to create further momentum for Ninh Binh to continue maintaining its growth momentum, improve the quality of local governance, and successfully achieve the socio-economic development goals for 2026 as well as the entire 2026-2031 term./.
