Ninh Binh province showcased its distinctive cultural heritage and signature OCOP products at “Vietnam Day 2026 in Kyushu-Okinawa,” held on September 12-13 at Tenjin Central Park in Fukuoka, Japan.
The two-day event attracted large numbers of local residents and international visitors.
The event was jointly organised by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, the provinces of Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Thai Nguyen, Dak Lak and Dong Thap, together with businesses and partners from both Vietnam and Japan.
Under the theme “Discover Vietnam Connect Kyushu,” the two-day event attracted large numbers of local residents and international visitors, offering them an opportunity to explore Vietnamese culture and experience a diverse range of Vietnamese cuisine and OCOP-certified agricultural products from participating localities.
Alongside the food and agricultural product showcases, the organisers held a variety of interactive cultural activities, including an ao dai experience area and traditional Vietnamese folk games, creating opportunities for visitors to engage directly with Vietnamese cultural traditions.

The event also provided a platform for local businesses to establish trade connections and explore opportunities to expand Ninh Binh’s distinctive products into the Kyushu and wider Japanese markets.
The success of Vietnam Day 2026 further highlighted the active role of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka as a bridge for strengthening friendship and expanding practical cooperation between Vietnam and the Kyushu-Okinawa region, particularly in trade, investment and cultural exchange./.
