Women join hands to clean up sea in Kim Dong commune

The Ninh Binh’s Department of Public security Women's Union chapter on August 10 coordinated with Women’s Union of provincial Military Command, provincial Border guard and Kim Dong commune to held a programme to clean up the sea” in Con Noi water, Kim Dong commune.
Cadres, soldiers, women and local people collected waste and cleaned up the coastal area around Con Noi waters.
At the programme, Organising board presented 200 national flags, 100 life jackets to fishmen. They also handed over 20 gifts set to disadvantaged fishmen families in Kim Dong commune.

The programme was held to speed up dissemination, raise fishermen's awareness and compliance with the law while popularising and raising their awareness on preventing and controlling cyber crimes.
Following the launching ceremony, cadres, soldiers, women and local people collected waste and cleaned up the coastal area around Con Noi waters.
The programme helps create a fall-out effect so as to inspire a sense of keeping the sea clean in every citizen. Measures to this end include launching awareness campaigns on the importance of the sea to the human life, the abstention of discharging rubbish in undesignated places and the reduction of use of plastic bags and other products, among others.
