Construction of Minh Chau Industrial Park infrastructure project began in late 2025. Covering nearly 300 hectares and requiring total investment of more than 1.4 trillion VND, the project is being developed in two phases across Nghia Hung and Dong Thinh communes.
At the construction site, work is progressing rapidly across all major components. The entire infrastructure system is expected to be completed by the end of June, enabling the industrial park to begin attracting secondary investors in the third quarter and enter full operation in the fourth quarter of 2026.
According to Vu Minh Hung, Head of the Management Board for the Minh Chau Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Project (Phase 1), the project benefited from the handover of a fully cleared site, creating favourable conditions for construction. Although securing fill materials and construction supplies posed challenges, early preparation helped ensure all key milestones were achieved on schedule.
The Minh Chau Industrial Park is being developed as a modern and integrated industrial hub, combining manufacturing, services, and technical infrastructure. Comprehensive investments in transport networks, power supply, water systems, telecommunications, and drainage facilities are designed to meet the operational needs of businesses.
The project is expected to contribute to economic restructuring, increase state budget revenues, and strengthen regional connectivity. Several domestic and international investors have already registered interest in establishing manufacturing facilities within the industrial park.
Meanwhile, construction of Trung Thanh Industrial Park in Tan Minh commune commenced in August 2025. The 200-hectare project has a total investment of more than 1.65 trillion VND. Benefiting from convenient connections to National Highway 1, the North South Expressway, and other key transport routes currently under development, the industrial park is being positioned as a modern, green, and sustainable industrial zone specialising in supporting industries.
The park aims to attract environmentally friendly, high-tech, and clean manufacturing industries, in line with Vietnam’s broader sustainable industrial development strategy.
Trinh Duy Cuong, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tan Minh commune, said the project holds special significance for local socio-economic development. Local authorities have therefore prioritised land clearance efforts to facilitate implementation. To date, nearly 80% of the project area has been handed over to the investor, while compensation and support plans totaling more than 345 billion VND have been approved for 785 households. Authorities are continuing to expedite site clearance to deliver the remaining land as soon as possible.
Bui Dinh Chien, General Director of Capella Real Estate JSC - the project’s developer, said the company has received strong support and close guidance from provincial leaders and relevant agencies, as well as broad consensus from local authorities and residents. Following the principle of “construction wherever land is available,” the company is mobilising resources to ensure the project becomes operational on schedule.
Under Ninh Binh province’s development plan for 2021 2030, with a vision to 2050, the province is projected to have 97 industrial parks covering nearly 47,800 hectares. Currently, 20 industrial parks with a combined area of 4,881 hectares are already in operation. Twelve others are undergoing land clearance and infrastructure development, four have completed zoning plans and are attracting infrastructure investment, while 11 are in the planning stage.
As part of its roadmap to achieve double-digit economic growth in 2026 and beyond, Ninh Binh has identified industrial development as a strategic breakthrough. The province is prioritising the development of modern industries that utilise advanced, clean, and environmentally friendly technologies while generating high added value.
Provincial authorities have instructed agencies and localities to accelerate infrastructure development in Ninh Co Economic Zone, industrial parks, and industrial clusters in accordance with approved plans. Efforts are also underway to study and attract investment for an airport, a deep-water seaport, and the expansion of the Ninh Co Economic Zone.
Alongside infrastructure development, Ninh Binh is focusing on attracting strategic investors capable of implementing high-tech and advanced manufacturing projects. The province aims to foster industries that produce high-value products, adopt modern management practices, generate spillover effects, and integrate local production into global supply and value chains./.
