Ninh Binh earns nearly 1 trillion VND from tourism during Lunar New Year 2025

The northern province of Ninh Binh reaped nearly 1 trillion VND (41,6 million USD) in revenue from tourism during the nine-day Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday that ended on February 2, up 20% year-on-year, according to the province’s Department of Tourism.Trang An ecological site attracted a large number of visitors during the three peak days of the holiday.
Specifically, the province welcomed over 700,000 tourist arrivals, making a year-on-year increase of 17%. Of this figure, more than 130,000 were international tourists
The overall occupancy rate for accommodation facilities was about 80-85%.
