Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and his delegation visited and extended Christmas greetings at Ninh Binh Parish Church in Hoa Lu ward and Diocese of Bui Chu in Xuan Truong commune, Ninh Binh province.

TheDeputy PM informed them of the country’s important socio-economic development achievements in 2025. The country’s GRDP estimated to expand at 8% in 2025, ranking among groups hanving highest growth speed in the region and worldwide; with the multi-dimension poverty rate fells to 2.29%.
The Government official attributed the results to the joint efforts of the local Party Committee, authorities and people, including the Catholic community.
He also reiterated that the State always respects and guarantees the right to freedom of religion and beliefs of all people, considering it a consistent policy to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of religious followers, thus strengthening the national great unity for national development.
The Deputy PM praised the Ninh Binh parish and Bui Chu diocese for organising a wide range of social and charitable activities and voiced his hope that the Bishop and other dignitaries would organise a warm and safe Christmas holiday, and continue encouraging the community to exert greater efforts to contribute more to the country.
