The six Deputy Prime Ministers are Pham Gia Tuc, Phan Van Giang, Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Ho Quoc Dung, Nguyen Van Thang, and Le Tien Chau.
Accordingly, Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office, was appointed as Deputy Prime Minister for the 2026-2031 term.
Tuc was born in 1965 and his hometown is Ninh Binh province. Throughout his career, he has held numerous positions at both central and local levels. Specifically, prior to March 2014, he served as Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
In March 2014, he was transferred and appointed as Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term.
In December 2017, he was further transferred and appointed as Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs. After that, he held the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs for the 2020-2025 term in June 2020.
In April 2021, he was transferred, assigned, and appointed by the Politburo to the position of Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
In November 2024, he was appointed as Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office, and then Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office in August 2025.
At the 14th National Party Congress in January 2026, he was elected as a member of the 14th Party Central Committee, a member of the Political Bureau, and assigned as Secretary of the 14th Party Central Committee.
In March 2026, he was elected by voters as a deputy to the 16th National Assembly./.
