The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) on January 23 announced an emergency assistance package worth approximately 740,000 USD to help Viet Nam protect cultural heritage and sustain education in areas heavily affected by a series of severe storms that struck the country in November 2025.
