On behalf of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man on April 6 signed Resolution No. -NQ/UBTVQH16 approving the election of the head of the Ninh Binh provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies.
The elections of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 2031 tenure were truly democratic, lawful, safe, cost-effective, and comprehensively successful, laying a firm foundation for the forthcoming National Assembly term one defined by action, innovation, and development.

According to the National Election Council, from 864 candidates, voters will elect 500 deputies to the 16th National Assembly (1.73 candidates per seat). For provincial-level People’s Councils, voters will elect 2,552 deputies from 4,217 candidates (1.65 candidates per seat). For commune-level People’s Councils, voters will elect 72,611 deputies from 120,873 candidates (1.66 candidates per seat).
With less than one day remaining before voters nationwide cast their ballots to elect deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the People’s Public Security force has deployed measures to ensure a secure and safe environment across the country, maintaining the highest level of readiness for the election on March 15.
The March 15 election is a major political event for the country, providing an opportunity for voters nationwide to exercise their right to choose exemplary and capable representatives who will truly reflect the will and aspirations of the people in the state’s decision-making bodies.
