Ninh Binh province has allocated up to 19 trillion VND (approximately 745 million USD) in public investment capital for transport infrastructure in 2026. Facing mounting pressure to meet disbursement targets, provincial authorities are urging investors, contractors and local administrations to remove bottlenecks related to land clearance, construction materials and project implementation in a bid to accelerate key transport projects.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked ministries, agencies, and localities to promptly address obstacles facing major transport projects to complete all set goals as there is a significant workload ahead, and only less than four months remaining until the end of 2025.

Located in the southern part of the Red River Delta region, Ninh Binh province is seen as a gateway to connect Northern provinces with Central and Southern provinces.Construction at project of expanding Cao Bo - Mai Son expressway.
