The Politburo and the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee convened a national conference in Ha Noi on April 13 to study, disseminate and implement the resolution of the second session of the 14th Party Central Committee.

On behalf of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man on April 6 signed Resolution No. -NQ/UBTVQH16 approving the election of the head of the Ninh Binh provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies.
At the session, 495 out of 495 lawmakers voted in favour of the resolution approving his appointment. The resolution affirms that Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission, and a deputy to the 16th NA, will serve as Prime Minister for the 2026-2031 term.
Presenting a draft resolution on the election of the State President, NA General Secretary and Chairman of the NA Office Le Quang Manh stated that, based on the Constitution, relevant legal provisions and the official vote-counting record, the legislature resolved to elect Party General Secretary To Lam as State President.
The Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee on January 30 issued Resolution No. 07-NQ/TU on the strategy for developing the cultural and tourism industry until 2030, with a vision to 2045. In accordance with Resolution 07-NQ/TU, the strategy aims to develop the cultural and tourism industry of Ninh Binh province into a key economic cluster, shifting from single-sector to multi-sector development, linking innovation with heritage preservation, and building Ninh Binh into a UNESCO-recognised global creative city by 2045.

Chairman Man affirmed that the election held on March 15 was a resounding success, describing it as a major national festival conducted in a democratic, equal, lawful, safe, economical and substantive manner. Ninh Binh has just issued a resolution on the strategy for marine economic development until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The supervision will focus on the leadership and direction in the dissemination and implementation of the 14th National Party Congress’s Resolution; as well as in the execution of the Politburo’s Directive No. 01-CT/TW dated January 23, 2026 on studying, disseminating and implementing the Resolution.
