Ninh Binh welcomes over 8.1 million tourist arrivals in eleven months

In November, a wide range of cultural activies were held and attracted a large number of domestic and foreign visitors.

In November, the province welcomed nearly 428,000 tourist arrivals, up 15.07% compared to the same period last year.

Revenue from tourism reached 585 billion VND (24.64 million USD) in November, posting a year-on-year increase of 15.53%.

In the first eleven months of 2024, Ninh Binh’s tourism sector was estimated to serve over 8.1 million tourist arrivals, representing a year-on-year rise of 30.4% and making up 8.05% of the yearly-plan.

Of which, domestic guests were 7.07 million while international guests were 1,08 millions, the highest figure ever.

The province earned over nearly 8.42 trillion VND (354 million USD), posting a year-on-year increase of 39.28% and making up 2.1% of the yearly plan.

The Department of Tourism has steered local tourist sites and destinations to implement measures to serve visitors safely; ensure social security and order, hygiene and environmental conditions.

In addition, local tourist facilities have been asked to upgrade infrastructure and landscapes and prepare enough staff and workers to serve tourists.
