Ninh Binh welcomes over 18.7 million tourists in seven months

According to statistics, local tourist destinations served more than 1.11million visitors, a year-on-year rise of 23.53%. The number of visitors staying at local accommodation establishments reached over 320,000, an increase of 13.51% compared to the same period in 2025.

Total revenue from tourism activities in July is estimated at over 1.38 trillion VND, an increase of 22.62%.

In the January-July period, the province welcomed over 18.72 million tourists, representing a year-on-year of 23.34%, and making 93.63% of the yearly plan.

The number of visitors staying at localaccommodation establishments reached over 3.74 million, up 28.6%.

Notably, revenue from tourism activitiesexceeded 19.34 trillion VND, a year-on-year increase of 21.8% and equivalent to 96.74% of the yearly plan.

Currently, Ninh Binh has 15 tourist areas and sites, and nearly 60 areas and locations with tourism development potential. Ninh Binh has 88 travel businesses, including 18 international travel agencies. This is an important foundation for the province to continue affirming its position as a leading centrefor heritage, ecological, and cultural tourism in the country.

According to the provincial Department of Tourism, in the coming time, the industry will focus on developing unique tourism products, especially heritage tourism, beach tourism, green tourism, and high-quality tourism.

Along with that, it will promote digital transformation, apply artificial intelligence in management and promotion; step up international market promotion; improve service quality, human resources, and build a safe, civilised, and friendly tourism environment./.
