On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Ninh Binh’s leaders on January 15 visited and presented Tet gifts to poor and disadvantaged households, the elderly and social policy beneficiaries across the province.Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Mai Van Tuat presented gifts to children and the elderly at the Ninh Binh Social Sponsor Center.

Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Mai Van Tuat led a delegation to visit the Ninh Binh Social Sponsor Center.
He spoke highly of the center staff’s efforts in overcoming difficulties to provide better care for those at the center.
Tuat also asked the staff to ensure conditions to organise a warm and happy Tet holiday for disadvantaged people at the center.
Later, Tuat and his entourage presented gifts to centenarian La Thi Minh in Khanh Nhac commune, wounded soldier Pham Minh Thach in Khanh Thuy commune and poor household of Tran Thi Ngoan in Khanh Hoi commune of Yen Khanh district.
Dinh Viet Dung, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Inspection Board and Head of Ninh Binh’s delegation of NA deputies presented Tet gifts to wounded soldier Vu Manh Loc in Hung Tien commune.
Meanwhile, Dinh Viet Dung, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Inspection Board and Head of Ninh Binh’s delegation of NA deputies visited and presented Tet gifts to wounded soldier Vu Manh Loc in Hung Tien commune, centenarian Nguyen Thi Sen in Lai Thanh commune and poor household of Tran Thi Ngot in Quang Thien commune of Kim Son district.
On the same day, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tong Quang Thin visited and presented Tet gifts to the drug rehabilitation center.

He also visited and presented Tet gifts to Orange Agent victim Bui Xuan Thu in Tan Binh ward, centenarian Bui Thi May in Bac Son ward and poor household of Dao Thi Hong in Nam Son ward of Tam Diep city.
On this occasion, other officials also made pre-Tet visits and presented Tet gifts to local revolution contributors, and disadvantaged people in Hoa Lu city, and Gia Vien and Nho Quan districts.
They extended Tet greetings to these people and suggested local authorities and centers to improve the implementation of social welfare policies and care for poor families and social policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged people as the Tet Festival is nearing.
