Ninh Binh's leaders offer incense in tribute to ancestors ahead of New Year

Attending the event were Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of Ninh Binh’s delegation of NA deputies; Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Le Quoc Chinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province along with representatives of local sectors, departments and localities.

The delegation offered incenses at King Dinh Tien Hoang temple and King Le Dai Hanh temple at Hoa Lu historical relic site in Tay Hoa Lu ward; the province's martyr Memorial site and province's martyr monument in Hoa Lu ward.

At visiting sites, the participants observed a minute's silence to commemorate the great contribution of King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh who defeated 12 warlords to unite the country and found the first feudal state of Dai Co Viet as well as paid tribute to Late President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation's re-unification, national construction and protection as well as the people's happiness.

In a sacred atmotsphere, the provincial authorities vowed to uphold brave tradition of ancestor to unite, overcome difficulties; strive to fulfill Resolutions set by the party organisation congress of all and realize the goals of building Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city by 2030.
