Chairman of provincial People’s Committee receives delegation of Russian Ministry of Health

Ngoc briefed his guests on the province’s geological location, historical and cultural traditions as well as its socio-economic development potential.

In the health sector, the province has coordinated with the Ministry of Health to suggest the Government build high-quality health centres at the second facilities of Viet Duc and Bach Mai Hospitals.

Besides, Ninh Binh has created the most favourable conditions in terms of policies and mechanisms to attract investment in building universities and hospitals in the province, he said.

Ngoc hoped the Russian Minister and the Russian Embassy in Vietnam would support and assist with cooperation between Russian localities and Vietnam in general and and Ninh Binh in particular, especially in the fields of health care.

For his part, Murashko thanked the province for warmly welcome and congratulated Ninh Binh on its socio-economic achievements over the past years. He showed his support for Vietnam’s current policies and mechanisms that have helped Vietnam become one of the leading countries worldwide having the best health models.

The Minister said Russia has built new and effective medical models such as regional polyclinics in residential areas; built a system for checking people's health, connecting and integrating into the remote medical examination and treatment system; applied artificial intelligence, and used drones to transport medicine and medical supplies.

With available experience and knowledge, the Russian Ministry of Health is ready to connect and support Ninh Binh province to promote the medical sector and take care of people's health, he promised.

On this occasion, the Russian delegation visited the National Special Relic Site of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and visited the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex./.
