Ministries, agencies, units, and localities must proactively renew their mindset, shifting from merely “displaying goods” to “spreading values.” They were encouraged to use more digital tools for supply-demand matching and market regional specialties and One Commune One Product (OCOP) items to draw Vietnamese brands nearer to international friends. At the same time, they should actively hold distinctive cultural, musical, and experiential exchanges that infuse energy and deliver real value to attendees.
On the afternoon of January 26, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) held a press meeting to provide information about the Spring Homeland Program 2026, which will take place in Hanoi and Ninh Binh from February 6-9, 2026, with approximately 1,500 overseas Vietnamese participating.
The proactive engagement of Vietnam’s trade offices overseas is also expected to contribute to the success of the fair. From mid-January, these offices have launched coordinated promotion and matchmaking efforts, inviting foreign partners to attend the fair as a gateway to Vietnam’s market, manufacturing capacity and investment environment.
Spring festivals are not only significant in terms of historical value but also an attractive cultural and spiritual tourism product that is increasingly developing. After the merger, Ninh Binh currently has more than 5,000 historical and cultural relics and about 750 traditional festivals that are maintained and organised annually.
