General Secretary and President Lam affirmed that Vietnam attaches great importance to its friendly neighbourliness and comprehensive cooperation with Thailand, expressing his hope that the two nations will continue to work together, support each other's development, and contribute to regional peace, stability, and growth.

In the presence of leaders from both provinces, Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting the implementation of the Ninh Binh Ca Mau cooperation programme for 2026 2030.
