A total of 13,563 remains samples of fallen soldiers have been transported to Ha Noi for DNA testing and identification, in a joint effort to clarify the identities of those who sacrificed their lives for the Fatherland.

Implementing the nationwide 500-day campaign to step up the search, collection and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains, Ninh Binh province has excavated nearly 3,000 unidentified martyr’s graves in 72 cemeteries across the province since May 2026.
