Ninh Binh’s delegation attends Red River Festival 2025 -Vietnam-China Cooperation Week

A delegation of Ninh Binh province led by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Cao Son attended the opening ceremony of the Red River Festival 2025 Vietnam-China Cooperation Week in the Red River basin in Honghe prefecture of China's Yunnan province on November 21.
Leaders of the two sides press the buttons to inaugurate the Vietnam China Cooperation Week in the Red River basin and dialogues with localities of the two countries.
In their opening remarks, leaders of Honghe prefecture and Yunnan province warmly welcomed the Vietnamese delegation and affirmed that the Red River is an arterial river that connects culture, history and trade between Vietnam and China.

The Red River Festival and cooperation week would help enhance mutual understanding, and spur infrastructure linkage and supply chain, thus contributing to build a shared economic corridor of prosperity.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Cao Son briefed participants on the outstanding potential and strengths of new Ninh Binh after merging the three former provinces of Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh.

Son underscored that Ninh Binh is one of Vietnam’s three big automobile hubs and is home to the World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Trang An.
The province is focusing on developing its economy in a fast, sustainable and harmonic manner, in which green industry and tourism are considered as spearhead economic sectors, he said.
At this forum, Ninh Binh hoped to step up infrastructure connectivity and cooperation in developing ecological industrial zones and building supply chain for logistics with Chinese localities, Son added.
